2025 NLGA Winter Meeting

  • Deadline to book in the NLGA block of rooms at the group rate is November 12, 2025, but rooms may sell out sooner
  • NLGA has a block of rooms at the Westin at Frenchman’s Reef at a rate of $360/night (including resort fee), plus taxes and fees
  • The NLGA Winter Meeting will begin on the morning of Friday, December 5, and adjourn on December 7
  • You should inquire directly with the Westin about room rates before or after the NLGA meeting
  • Attendees must cancel hotel reservations no later than seven (7) days before arrival to avoid cancellation fees.  NLGA cannot waive or modify the hotel’s cancellation fees
  • NLGA will reimburse most travel expenses for NLGA Members (lieutenant governors, seconds-in-command) only to attend this meeting, including hotel rooms, per the policy below
  • Ground transportation to/from Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas is “on your own” for all meeting attendees.  NLGA has listed several options below

Travel Reimbursement Policy

NLGA Members’ Travel Reimbursement (lieutenant governors, seconds-in-command only):  NLGA will reimburse Members (lieutenant governors/seconds-in-command only) for their personal hotel room at the group rate for Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday (December 4, December 5, December 6) while attending the meeting, and for their personal coach class airfare up to $1,000. Ground transportation to/from the airport is on your own, see options below. 

To receive a reimbursement check at your seat at the Winter Meeting, complete THIS FORM and email your airfare receipt and completed form to NLGA at sploetz@nlga.us no later than November 25, 2025.

The final deadline to submit receipts for reimbursement is December 22, 2025.  Email your airfare receipt and completed form to sploetz@nlga.us by December 22, and NLGA will independently verify your hotel stay and have the airfare and hotel reimbursement mailed. Any reimbursement request received after that date cannot be paid.  NLGA will not reimburse for class or seat selection above coach, nor for seat selection, baggage, change or cancellation fees, including any hotel change or cancellation fee.

Ground Transportation To/From Airport

Ground transportation to/from the Cyril E. King Airport and the Westin is “on your own” for all meeting attendees.  The Westin is approx. 20min from the airport. Options include: 

  • ROUND-TRIP TRANSPORTATION:  NLGA has contracted with IMI for attendees to arrange direct round-trip transportation to/from the airport to the hotel at $70 per passenger, inclusive of luggage.  To book your ground transportation, complete THIS FORM and return to info@imi.vi to reserve your spot. 
  • SHARED AND PRIVATE AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION:  You can book shared and private airport transportation on the Westin website HERE, costs vary. 
  • TAXIS:  Taxicabs are available at the airport.  Cash only.  Cabs may do multiple drop-offs during your ride. 
  • RIDESHARE: There is no rideshare (Uber, Lyft) on St. Thomas.
