NLGA Meetings
NLGA holds three meetings annually, designed as forums to bring NLGA Members together to discuss the shared challenges and policy issues that impact state and territorial government.
Each April, NLGA is hosted by a NLGA Member for the Spring Business Meeting, with a focus on association business and an opportunity to showcase the resources and unique assets of the host state or territory. NLGA is also hosted each summer by a NLGA Member for the Annual Meeting, the association’s largest meeting of the year. A Winter Meeting is held each December in Washington, D.C. and includes newly elected Members.
Only individuals or entities with a specific relationships to NLGA are eligible to attend NLGA meetings. There is no public, general, or student registration.
NLGA may conduct State Strategy Summits or committee meetings, which are related to specific policy. NLGA periodically conducts policy webinars. NLGA also partners to conduct international missions in the global economy.
